Attunement with Sacred Sound Workshop Intensives
Awesome June 19-21 Event
Our June 19-21 workshop intensive was another awesome event following on the heels of our
pilot workshop back in March. Some thirty-two participants showed up for various sessions
during the three-day workshop, which was sponsored by and held at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland,
Colorado. They came from as far South as Alabama and Southern California, and as far North
as Mt. Shasta, CA. and Southern Oregon, Denver , Colorado and surrounding region, and from
Sunrise Ranch. The event was created and presented by Anthony Palombo with the able
assistance of his wife, Bonnie, Jean Martens, Alice Penwell and Leo Palombo.
Our theme was the creation of a sacred sound field to bridge heaven and earth and to open a
space for co-creation. Our purpose – realized to considerable depth and extent throughout our
time together – was to bring the infinite into the finite. To give birth, through a vibrational
vesica, to a creative flow of new thought and realization around the technology of sacred sound
and how it might facilitate the magic of Creation through the Creative Process. To generate a
Musical Matrix for co-creation – a creative field in which “all the factors” Uranda speaks of in
The Triune Ray may come together so that the command of Love may be spoken to the finite
world of form: “Return to the divine design.” We were all deeply moved by the awesome nature
of this auspicious and thrilling undertaking, and by the personal and group transformation and
healing that occurred at many levels.
Our work ranged from voice placement and development to harmonic chant accompanied by the
living sounds of quartz crystal bowls. Thanks to the generosity of Janet Center, a local
attunement practitioner, we had a full chromatic scale of fourteen bowls to work with in
exploring harmonic combinations for the creation of sacred sound fields for each of the Seven
Spirits of the Endocrine glands. The harmonic tones of the “Healing Fifth" (the musical interval
of a Perfect Fifth) bring the endocrine and chakra sacred energy centers into a state of harmony
and balance. We began each session toning the harmonic chord for each Spirit and sacred
energy site with the singing bowls, starting with the Spirit of Love on Friday morning and ending
with the Spirit of the New Earth Sunday morning.
We thoroughly enjoyed a session with Grace Marie from Fort Collins, CO, who teaches
“Harmonic Temple” singing. We learned two four-part-harmony songs through which we
poured out our spirits in musical blessing, a fulfilling experience after a day of voice work that
Friday.
As our “Feature Presentation” Friday evening, we were blessed to have Leo Palombo with us
from Talent, Oregon and his Monochord Table. Leo, who builds these tables himself,
demonstrated and taught his technique for playing this sacred sound instrument in a magical
way so as to create a healing field. Throughout the workshop, participants shared attunement
sessions with Leo on the Monochord Table. This was a popular and celebrated feature of the
workshop.
Another popular feature was Shareen Ewing’s presentation of precious stones – minerals from
the Earth that convey as well as store cosmic energies – and how they might be used in
balancing the endocrine glands with the chakras in attunement. Shareen is making sets of these
precious stones available through the Sunrise Gift Shop.
We spent Saturday working with the quartz crystal bowls – learning how to play them and
exploring their use as sacred sound tools in attunement with the Seven Spirits of Love. Tony
also demonstrated how he works with Tibetan and quartz crystal bowls, along with tuning forks,
in his attunement service. Participants were able to have private sessions with Tony during the
workshop breaks. That evening Dr. Kenneth Lim presented an inspiring and enlightening
consideration around the theme of whole-person healing and wellness. It was a full day of
landing our creative thoughts and realizations in the Earth and releasing our joy and enthusiasm
into the Fire cycle
As a culmination to our weekend, local artist David Holman brought into the co-creative field an
innovative exploration of colors, correlating them with musical tones and the harmonic chords
we had explored during the workshop. We played and toned the colors in some of the
participants’ garments, as well as in several paintings and pieces of art. This put a colorful cap
on our time together and opened a door to expanded possibilities for future workshops.
Our world blessing Sunday morning brought the Middle East into our radiant hands as we sang
a Salutation to the Spirit of Love written by Tony for the occasion. In all, our time together was
truly a déjà vu experience of ancient times when we worked together as creator beings. It was
divine magic!
